A worn family snapshot, creased and faded
The photo you have
The same family as a finished portrait, with a loved one brought back into the frame
The portrait we make

Everyone in the picture — even the ones we miss.

The graduation he didn’t live to see. The grandchild she never got to hold. Send us a photo of the people who were there, and photos of the one who wasn’t, and we’ll bring them together in a single portrait — carefully, and respectfully.

This is the work Redbird was built to do.

A family portrait with several generations together
A portrait of a family gathered close
  • Send what you have

A phone photo of a framed print on the wall is enough. We work with what survived.

  • Faces handled carefully

Likeness is the whole job. We work from every photo you send until the face is theirs.

  • You see it before it's final

A proof comes to you first, with a revision included. Nothing is finished until you say so.

Sample imagery, shown to give a feel for the work. Your portrait is made from your own photos.

Not a memorial? Same portrait, any moment you wish you had.

You and your dad over a chessboard. The dance at a wedding he missed. The whole family on the porch one more time — or the dog in a bow tie. Tell us the moment and send us the faces, and we’ll build the scene from scratch.

The Living Portrait

Watch the portrait gently come to life.

  • On the mantelLooping quietly on a tablet or digital frame, the way a photograph never could.
  • At the serviceOn the screen beside the flowers, so the room sees them move.

Questions families ask us

What kind of photos do you need?

Clear faces are what matter most. We can work with old prints you've photographed with your phone, scans, or digital photos. If what you have won't be enough, we'll tell you within 24 hours — that's our 24-hour confirmation.

Can you include someone who has passed away?

That's the heart of what we do. Send us the photos you have of them, tell us a little about who they were, and we'll thoughtfully bring everyone together in one portrait.

What kinds of portraits do you make?

Three. A Restoration brings one damaged or faded photo back as a clean, print-ready copy. A Reunion Portrait brings everyone into one picture — including the ones who couldn't be there. An Imagined Portrait creates a moment that never happened, like you and your dad over a chessboard, or your dog in a gilded frame. Reunion and Imagined portraits are the same price; just tell us what you're imagining and we'll know which it is.

How many people can be in one portrait?

Up to four people or pets per portrait. Larger groups don't come out as well, so we don't take them. If your photos have more than four, we'll let you know within 24 hours and refund you in full.

How long does it take?

Three to five days for most portraits, with a proof sent to you before final delivery. Need it sooner? 48-hour delivery is available as an add-on and is already included with Heirloom — see pricing.

What if I want a change?

One revision round is included with every portrait, and most families never need a second. Additional revisions are priced in the pricing section; Heirloom includes a second round.

Do you print and ship a physical portrait?

You receive a high-resolution, print-ready file sized for standard frames. Print it anywhere you like — most families print an 11×14 or 16×20 for the wall.
